I have discovered something quite useful.
Tonight, after dinner, I decided I needed something sweet and comforting, so I made a microwave self-saucing chocolate pudding.
And it was tasty - if a little bit dry. Anyway, that's my own fault.
But the real proof of the pudding was in my after-dinner trip to the supermarket.
I looked at the cakes in the bakery... and I didn't want any.
I walked straight past the confectionery aisle.
And those bins by the check-outs, offering three chocolate bars for $3? Yeah, nah.
Amazing.
Clearly, I should make chocolate self-saucing pudding more often.
If I thought that would work, I would live on the stuff. You have inspired me... I am back to blogging (meaning I finished two unfinished blogs, and wrote one new one... two weeks ago).
ReplyDeleteI am really worried about that distant relative of mine who is a member of the grammar police, though. I sweat through every bit of punctuation, like the [...]above. They do serve a function, though, rather like y'all in American English. They are not grammatically correct, but so very useful. In Italian, prepositions are my nightmare. In English, it is the comma. Perhaps this should have been a blog. :)
I'll have to go and check your blogs out, Dee! I've been really slack on blogging lately. Certainly, it was easier to come up with stuff when I was travelling!
